Rental conditions
Before making a reservation on our website, please make sure you meet all the rental conditions of the vehicle you have chosen and that you have also read our CAUTION section.
In order to rent a vehicle in our agency, you must produce 3 documents:
- Driver's license
- Proof of address
- Credit card in your name to make the deposit.
All these documents must be in the same name! If you are unable to present all three documents in the same name, there are solutions. For this, contact our agency.
Each vehicle has its own rental conditions.
It is imperative that the rental conditions be strictly adhered to before making a reservation. If the vehicle you have chosen requires you to be 23 years old and have a 2-year B license, it must be on time! If you are "almost" 23 years old on the day of departure, the rental will be cancelled and you will not be able to leave with our vehicle. You will lose the deposit you have paid. The same goes for the years of license, having "almost" 2 years of license will not allow you to rent this vehicle...
Many of the vehicles we offer are accessible from 18 years old and 1 day of B license. You will find your happiness !

About the bond
A deposit by credit card imprint is required to rent a vehicle. It works like a payment, except that the amount is not debited from the account. It is simply locked into the spending limit of your card.
The spending limit is the amount your bank allows you to spend per week or month with your bank card. With some banks, it is necessary to have the amount in the account for the card imprint to be accepted. But be careful, even if you have the money, the deposit may be refused. Example : you wish to rent a vehicle with a deposit of 3000€. You have a bank card with a spending limit of 4000€ but you have already spent 2000€ with your CB: the 3000€ deposit will be refused because you only have 2000€ of spending limit available.
In any case it is possible to increase the limit of your card. Contact your bank advisor directly and ask the question.
Please note: the credit card used to make the deposit must be in the same first and last name as the driver's license of the main driver who is renting.
If you have several bank cards in your name, you can use them to make the deposit: 1000€ on one, 2000€ on the other, etc....
- It is also possible to complete the deposit with another person's credit card. To do so, download the form and fill it in. You will have to go to the agency to complete the deposit with this person with his credit card and his ID before the day of departure. Please note: you must pay at least half of the deposit with a credit card belonging to you and you can complete the deposit with another person's card up to a maximum of half the deposit!
- Deposit by bank check payable to ADA BOIS D'ARCY. Please note: a cashier's check is not a normal check! The bank debits the amount from your account and writes a check to the bank.
In any case, you should arrive 10 days before the day of departure in order to complete all the formalities. In case of a problem you will have time to find a solution.
